Privacy Policy
This policy sets out how Hobby Works handles personal information.
Hobby Works Inc. (referred to herein as "we" or "the Company") appropriately handles personal information obtained in connection with our website, products, contract development, and other business activities in accordance with the policy below.
1. Information We Collect

- To manage contracts, billing, and other transactions

3. Contact Form
We use the email delivery service "Resend" to receive and be notified of submissions sent through our contact form. Information obtained through the form is processed via this service only to the extent necessary to respond to the inquiry.
4. Website Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity only after a visitor allows analytics. If no choice has been made or analytics is declined, we do not load external scripts for these services, and the contact form remains available. Google Analytics 4 uses cookies and similar technologies to measure website use. Our custom analytics events are limited to predefined values such as service category, placement, the start of form entry, and the fact that the server confirmed a successful submission. We do not send names, email addresses, inquiry messages, or other form values in these events. Microsoft Clarity sends interaction information such as clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, viewport size, page views, and DOM changes to Microsoft for heatmaps and session replay used to improve the site. We configure full-page masking, including forms and submission results, and do not load Clarity when the current page, referrer, or an in-page link contains a URL query string. Analytics permission can be changed later through Analytics settings. On withdrawal, we notify the analytics services of the denied state, remove analytics first-party cookies that our website's JavaScript can delete, and reload the page in the denied state. Third-party cookies, HttpOnly cookies, and data already sent to a provider may not be deleted by this action alone.
5. Outsourcing
We may outsource the handling of personal information to cloud services, email delivery services, hosting services, and other external providers to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use. In such cases, we will select and supervise the outsourced party as necessary and appropriate. Information may be handled in locations outside Japan through our use of Cloudflare, Resend, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Clarity. According to information published by Microsoft, Clarity data is stored on Microsoft Azure and handled by Microsoft and Clarity.
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
We will not disclose personal information to third parties without the individual's consent, except where required by law or otherwise justified.
7. Information Entrusted by Clients in Contract Development
Personal information, confidential information, and other data entrusted to us by clients in the course of contract development work is handled in accordance with the relevant service agreement, non-disclosure agreement, personal information handling provisions, security requirements, and other terms agreed with the client.
8. Security Management
We implement necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent leakage, loss, damage, and unauthorized access to the information we obtain. A visitor's analytics permission or refusal is stored in the browser's localStorage for 180 days. According to information published by Microsoft, standard Clarity session recordings are retained for 30 days, while heatmaps, aggregated click data, and similar data are retained for 9 months.
9. Requests for Disclosure, etc.
Where an individual requests disclosure, correction, suspension of use, or similar action regarding personal information we hold, we will respond appropriately in accordance with applicable law.
